The Indian Ocean Brewing Co was one of the first craft breweries in Western Australia. Created in 2005, the award-winning Indian Ocean Brewery Co. is located at The Marina, Mindarie, a 30km drive North of Perth on the coast of Western Australia. The brewery offers a range if core craft beers that are sold on site as well as at a number of off site hotels and establishments around Perth.
Led by Head Brewer Tom Fleay, who brings over a decade of experience to the craft. Alongside his assistant Mike, Tom’s passion and expertise shine through in every batch we produce.
Indi Draught is a full flavoured, full strength draught beer with a difference. Fermented cold, free from sugars, preservatives and extracts, brewed with 100% Australian malt and 100% Natural Australian hops.

New England IPA is new world beer epitomised. Our NEIPA is brewed with an unwholesome amount of hops added to the ferment and dry hop. resulting in a beer bursting with hop aroma and flavour. Fruitulus Lupulus finishes with the lightest of bitterness, allowing all the stone fruit, orange and mango juice character to sit front and centre.

Apples grow seasonally, which means the thirst-quenching Sundowner Cider changes from season to season as well. The subtle variation in the flavour is a unique characteristic of this Western Australian cider. Made from freshly pressed apples from Western Australia.

Fruitulus turned up to eleven! Strong in alcohol, strong in aromatics & strong in flavour. This ‘Quadrupel dry hopped’ DIPA got a whopping 20G/L giving it prominent notes of melon, mandarin & pineapple.

We are aware that there are many craft beer breweries, not only in Australia, but all concentrated in Western Australia. Although they have a craft beer tag, a lot of these are now owned by the large beer companies. We like to think that by being independent and ideally located in the north of Perth, we have something special to offer.
